How to play block puzzle
The classic loop is simple: you always have three polyomino shapes. Fit them on an 8×8 grid, clear complete lines, and keep placing until nothing fits.
Basic rules
Drag each shape onto the board. A row or column clears when every cell in it is filled. You get a fresh set of three shapes after each placement batch—plan ahead so you do not trap yourself.
Scoring and game over
Most block puzzles end when none of the three shapes can fit anywhere. Deep Blocks has no timer—take your time. Combos from multiple clears in one move feel great but are not required.
The dig-layer twist
In Deep Blocks, finishing a tray reveals the rock layer underneath with new materials. Your depth record is the long-term goal—not just one high score on a single board.
