Dig layers block puzzle
Dig layers are the product wedge: every cleared board exposes rock and gems underneath—not just another identical grid. Depth is the long-run goal.
What a dig layer is
When you complete a tray in Deep Blocks, the board transitions to the stratum below. Materials and rock types change as you go deeper—planning matters for both the visible grid and what sits under it.
How layers differ from classic block puzzle
Standard block puzzles reset the same flat board. Here, finishing a tray advances your mine run. Your best depth is tracked across sessions.
Tips for pushing depth
Leave flexible corridors for awkward shapes. Clearing multiple lines in one move helps but save space for the next tray’s layer reveal. No timer—think a move ahead.
